Free update brings new Stages, Stage Fatalities, and Friendships on the same day.
NetherRealm Studios announced this morning that Mortal Kombat 11 will soon enter expansion territory with Aftermath, which includes a new cinematic story, three new fighters, and three additional skin packs.
Two of the additional characters are returning favorites, Fujin and Sheeva, and they’ve gotten the full MK11 makeover with new designs and toolkits. RoboCop joins the battle as the title’s next guest character and will bring new life to everyone’s dream matchup of Terminator v RoboCop.
The three new skin packs will be added to the game over time, but the rest of the content appears to be releasing on launch day.
We won’t go too deep into the additional story details featured in the trailer to leave the experience as unspoiled as possible, but know that you are in for the usual spectacle only NetherRealm can provide with new characters joining that were not featured in the original story mode.
