Some technical hurdles just need to be cleared

SNK’s Yasuyuki Oda was recently interviewed by Dual Shockers regarding their Switch efforts. While the majority of the interview was focused on SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, they also touched on the possibility of bringing the King of Fighters XIV to Nintendo’s console portable hybrid.

When asked about bringing KoFXIV to Switch, Oda stated that it was definitely a possibility. That said, he stated that there were some technical hurdles that their team would need to overcome before the port could happen.

The rest of the interview focuses on why they chose to develop SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy (they wanted a spiritual successor SNK Gals Fighters), Oda’s thoughts on the positive reaction to the Samurai Shodown reveal, and more.
