Welcome to the Rollback: a frame-by-frame look back at our past week’s most notable news — and our favorite SRK articles — from October 19 to November 1, 2018!

Zavian “mushin_Z” Sildra, Editor-in-Chief:

Crow_Spaceboy, Assistant Editor:

Frame 1:
tekken 7 gigas
Version 2.02 of Tekken 7 drops, introduces minor bug fixes and balance changes

It is extremely funny to me that one of Season 2’s most controversial changes, Gigas’s DF+1 nerf, was almost immediately reverted.

Frame 2:
You can now view frame data with this overlay for SoulCalibur VI on PC

Now if only those people with PCs could share that data with the rest of us console scum. (That’s me, by the way.)

Frame 3:
soulcalibur vi scvi ivy
Learn to neutralize the 2A+G/2B+K Ivy mixup in SoulCalibur VI

This is an annoying entry level mixup that you’ll have to deal with at all levels of play.

Frame 4:
Dusty Knuckles V VODs available, featuring Beastorizer and Hyper Street Fighter II

Dusty Knuckles is quickly becoming one of my favorite US events thanks to its unique and revolving game lineups.

Frame 5:
soulcalibur 6 cover
Bandai Namco may ban “inappropriate custom characters” from playing online in SoulCalibur VI

Did you ever stop think about the fact that, because of this news, it’s someone’s job to check for dongs at Namco? A dongchecker. Every day they log in to SoulCalibur VI and look for dongs, and not only do they get paid for it, but they’re graded on their performance. They have meetings about dong quotas.

Catch up on what you may have missed in our prior SRK Rollback compilations. Editor-in-Chief. Street Fighterin' since there was only a "II" in the title.
