Even more titles expand the available tournaments to join at Canada Cup 2018.

When Toronto’s Canada Cup 2018 was opened for registration, it was noted that additional games could still be added to the event lineup if there was enough interest from players — or, in the case of a particular Tale of Souls and Swords, if the release date fell before the tournament. As a result, Five additional titles have been added to Canada Cup 2018, bringing the tournament list up to a whopping 19 games:

  • Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition
  • Ultra Street Fighter IV
  • Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
  • Super Street Fighter II Turbo
  • Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
  • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2
  • BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
  • The King of Fighters XIV
  • Tekken 7
  • Injustice 2
  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U [singles & doubles]
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee [singles & doubles]
  • NEW!  BlazBlue: Central Fiction
  • NEW! Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]
  • NEW! Pokkén Tournament DX
  • NEW! SoulCalibur VI
  • NEW! Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S

This may be the first major event to run SoulCalibur VI, happening so soon after the game’s October 19 release date. Don’t forget that this is also the venue for the “Fight for the Future” Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Tournament Series event for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, and a Premier event on the Capcom Pro Tour. Canada Cup 2018 is partnered with EGLX and takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on October 26-28, 2018. Registration is open at smash.gg.
