Fresh of showing off some new gameplay of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite from the Gamescom build of the game, Maximilian has posted another video. This time, he talks about all the game’s final launch roster, and some of the new online modes that were shown to him when he visited Capcom HQ.

The big news, however, is that a female monster hunter was spotted in the game’s story mode. Now for those who have been following the news around the game, a Monster Hunter character — based on the player character from the games — was one of the characters listed in one of the many leaks regarding the games roster. The female Monster Hunter herself is seen wearing Rathalos Armor as an NPC, and may be an indication that she will be one of the game’s DLC characters.

In addition to this, Max talks about the other modes, including those already confirmed by Capcom: arcade mode, training mode, and the mission mode. More importantly, Max goes over some of what he knows about the online mode. While he misses some points (we already know that the game uses GGPO-style rollback netcode), he does go over how the game has features that the original Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was missing at launch. One of these is the new beginner league for players up to “rank 14,” — Max discusses the implications and benefits of this in the video below.
