This weekend, top Ultra Street Fighter IV players will be throwing down in the Capcom Pro Tour Asia Finals at GameStart 2015 in Singapore. But apart from bringing tournament goers their penultimate shot of Capcom Cup qualifying spots, the convention may have a bit more up its sleeve.
On Sunday, November 15, Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono and Tomoaki Ayano are set to take the stage for what the official schedule calls a “Street Fighter V Producer Session.” This happens to be just an hour before the Ultra Street Fighter IV grand finals begin–the perfect time for a Street Fighter V-related announcement to get everyone’s blood pumping.
The exact nature of what these two intend to announce–and indeed, if they intend to announce anything at all–remains unknown at this time. With the days until Street Fighter V’s release falling away, we’ve got only so many (wildly) appropriate events from which news surrounding the game can spring, so it makes sense that they might have something to share. Stay tuned to Shoryuken for any details that the two decide to divulge.
GameStart Asia is set to take place November 13-15.
