Road to EVO 2012 – DM|Xian (Gen) vs. MCZ|Daigo (Yun, Guile, Ryu) AE 2012 Grand Finals Footage from South East Asia Majors

After replaying the entirety of the tournament yesterday, the folks over at Cross Counter Asia have made footage from the exciting Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012 grand finals available. These matches feature some incredible Gen play from Singapore native DM|Xian as he takes on Daigo Umehara of Team Mad Catz. Daigo makes a variety of adjustments over the course of this first to seven match, switching between a few characters before settling on his main.

After being sent to losers earlier in the tournament, Daigo won the first game, but Xian turned the tables quickly by taking five games in a row. The Beast happened to make it close a couple of times, but never regained the lead on the way to a 7-5 advantage for Xian’s Gen.
