Fugee; big thanks for organizing this event. It was a fantastic tournament. We all agreed this was easily the best venue we have ever played in for a tournament. Great location, easy access to food, relatively close hotel, comfortable chairs and couches to lounge in while watching matches, the list goes on. You did a fantastic job. I would sincerely recommend this venue for an EVO event rather than a ballroom, it was far superior to EVO East's venue.

Ghalion; thanks for running 3rd Strike. I know you were sweating the brackets but you did a great job so no worries bro. Next time if we cross paths I will be happy to help you out.

Christian; thanks for running CvS2 among many other things. Great playing you in Arcana Heart as well. We'll both get good at it in time.

Isaac; how do you always get stuck running tournies? LOL you did a great job running Marvel. It's always great to see you bro. It's all about the insurance policies.

Arturo; keep that Arcana hype going. You were an absolutely monster. I was in disbelief as to how badly you crushed me in the tourney. I wish we got to chat more over the day but you were so busy and I was all over taping.

Nik; great meeting you. I had a lot of fun in the Super Turbo tournament. I love that game but never get a chance to play it anymore. It's all about being old and having muscle memory for tricks.

Dan; great meeting you man. I didn't get a chance to play you but I was in the background watching a lot of your stuff and you're really good. A lot of the GTASF were very high on your game as well. It's a shame you're retiring. Thanks for the NEC3 DVD hookup. I can't believe how lucky I was to find it. I wish you all the luck in the future. Retiring a solid dedicated player like yourself is a loss to the scene as a whole.

Justin; you cost me money. DAMN YOU! SO CLUTCH! Great seeing you as always. I don't think I'll ever doubt you in Marvel again. It's too costly to my wallet.

Potter; I barely saw you all weekend. We didn't get to have our re-match in CvS2. Another time I guess... and there will be another time.

Yipes; I don't even know what to say. You are the innovator of all that is Marvel. I couldn't wrap my brain around 90% of the stuff you pulled off and had to get explanations from people around me. So gross... I loved it. Good shit on your win. I hope your knee heals up soon though the cane is pimp.

Juan; how did we not play each other all day? I think we spent more time chatting in the parking lot on the way home than the entire tournament day. I always look forward to seeing you and Detroit Crew. Reach up to Toronto for some games and we'll go find some girlies for you and the boys.

Peter; always great talking mad shit with you. Watching you and JS talking smack last night was hilarious. You both THINK you're the greatest. I'm sorry you had to share my sorrow over the Justin comeback and money lost. Congrats on coming 2nd in Guilty Gear, it looked like a really tough field.

Jason; always fun playing you. Hopefully next time our match isn't so sloppy. I'm glad my Kim combo rattled your brain a little bit. It's a bitch to pull it off, especially in a tourney match. Good shit on the monster Sagat comeback, I thought I had that match in the bag.

Havoc; I'm sorry we didn't get to play our Money Match. I got to see you play a bit and you looked really good. I would have liked to play you but I guess the time didn't permit.

Zach; a true pleasure talking with you and in this case "working" with you for a bit. I don't know what the marvel scene would do without you. Your dedication to the scene is amazing. I hope you had a good time and got the souvenir you wanted. Talk soon...

There were so many others. I'll be updating this post as I remember names and situations. I want to give big props to all the US 3S players. I know Toronto came in with a big rep but there were TONS of great US 3S players that gave Toronto a run for its money. Hopefully we can all get together at another tourney either in the US or up in Toronto and do it all over again.

GS everyone. Although I didnt do as well as hoped in the 3s tourny, I played a lot of good matchs with some good peeps. Lesson #1: DONT go 24-48 hours with no sleep. It sucks. Haha people were coming up to me and were saying like "Damn, you look terrible!" Haha, it was well worth it ( I guess ). It just makes it much tougher when you gotta play good players back to back early in the tourny. I had a great time and hope I impressed some people with my Dudley.

Nice job Fugee and Ghaleon for putting together a great event.

Thanks to fugee and Ghaleon for throwing an awesome tourney. There were a few mishaps that we ran into but it's all good.

I wasn't collecting names so GG's to everyone I played. I was the dude rockin' the white/black Ibuki. I gotta say that casuals was the funnest part of the tourney because once the tourney hit, it was all up in the air after that. Canada has some strong players, that's the truth but I wish I would've got to play some of you guys a little more. Next time around, huh?!

Watching Marvel is like a bugs to a dim light bulb. Too hype!
