They can be used for Garou (if it gets picked) and other games like this. All we need are game disks or accounts that've bought the game. Know anyone that can provide either?

I might edit the Ladder appropriately to reflect the tournament that we went to. Only problem is I don't know exactly all of the matches that we played.

We want some input from the community on a particular issue. We want to make this BIG. To do so, we want to draw out-of-staters. But one way of doing this is to raise the tournament fee to $10 so people from OOS have an incentive to come out and play. HOWEVER, we don't want to scare anybody from AR from entering by having too high of a entrance price. Anybody have an opinion on this issue either way?

All those SNK fighters are on Live for download, they were never released on disc, and i've seen them played up on Wednesday nights before so i'm sure somebody has them.

Honestly 10 dollars is not a bad price to pay. It could be more, but we can keep it at that. We need to get these flyers printed off ASAP so we can start passing them out and hanging them up.

To be honest, we believe it's a STEAL considering the size of the event, how much work we're doing, what you get out of it (free pizza and drinks!), and the going price of tournies. Most tournies of our size charge at LEAST $10 entrance fee AND you don't really get anything out of it (no food, no drinks). However, I personally want to make that as big as possible so I'm a fan for making the entrance fee as low as possible.

T-TOWN THROWDOWN

WHEN: May 8th, 2010 (Tentative.) Registration, practice, and Double or nothing event starts at 11am. Tournament starts at 1pm.
WHERE: Texarkana College Truman Arnold Center. Upstairs, room ###.
GAMES: Super Street Fighter IV (XBOX 360), Tekken 6 (PS3), Super Smash Bros Brawl (WII)
ENTRY FEES: $7.00 Venue fee. (Goes towards payment for the venue.)
$5.00 Entry fee for each game being played. (Players can play multiple games.)
PRIZES: All entry fees for each game will be thrown into a pot, distributed as follows: 1st PLACE: 60% of pot 2nd PLACE: 25% of pot 3rd PLACE: 15% of pot

FORMAT: Each match will consist of best 2 out of 3 games. SSFIV will be set to first to 2 rounds every game. T6 will be set to first to 3 rounds every game. SSBB will be set to 3 stock. Stage select will be random. SSBB stage select will only consist of tournament legal stages, with counter picks legal second round. SSBB will be one on one combat, with no items. All characters are legal. Tournament will feature double elimination brackets. The game with most contestants will begin at 1pm, with each other game beginning 30 minutes apart.

ADDITIONAL RULES: Players are urged to bring their own Fight Sticks, Fight Pads, Gamecube controllers, and classic WII controllers. None of these will be provided at the tournament, however, official controllers will be provided upon request. Any accidental pauses during games will be handled by a judge, or the tournament organizer. If the pause was obviously on purpose, it will result in a game loss.

$1.00 - $5.00. Each contestant may challenge each team member once.
