@pedobear.
You need to use mat, semi gloss, luster or coated paper.
Also I love the zebra wood! I NEED a TMO stick :)
Yes to the PB stick!
Beautiful TMO stick + other peoples crazy ideas = awesome sticks. Take that, Ryu!

Here's my latest.
Built this for my bro. It's got Sanwa stick with Seimitsu buttons and ball top. Hacked a Madcatz 360 pad and left enough room to add a PS2 or PS3 pad later.
The artwork on the bottom is supported by a piece of steel sheet metal.
It's not perfect, but I think if I ever built one I thought was perfect, I would stop building.
I'm hoping he won't like it so I can keep it.![]()
Cool stick

awesome stick. love the splatter
Stylish. Nice work on the paintjob.
LOL, I love the blood! How did you do it, simply with a paint brush and then flicked on?
Not a HUGE fan of Kill Bill myself, but awesome work regardless. I like the punch/kick logos in the buttons, very smart.![]()

Im a huge killbill fan :)
Love the artwork very cute.
I would also like to know how you painted the blood, it looks perfect!
Thanks for the compliments guys!
The idea for the blood only came to me after I decided which artwork I was going to put on the bottom. I would have loved to follow the large blood splat on the bottom and bring it up on to the wood. But I didn't think I would be able to pull it off. So I decided to just put some small spatters around the outside.
I used water based acrylic paint from the hobby store (bright red). I thinned the paint down with water until it would splat and not just look like a drop when it hit. I ended up using a large flat blade screwdriver to apply the paint. I would scoop it up on the flat part and flick it as hard as I could at the box.
Lol, I ended up with a lot of paint on myself, as I was holding the box while I was doing this.![]()
Nice stick devilsfang.
Devilsfang: Dude nice stick good job!
I like the blood on the kill bill, funny about how you got messy from the paint but hey it was worth it! ^_^
Also how the hell did you get the Punch and kick buttons on there?
Dope as hell!

Thanks!
As for the buttons, another funny story.
I was just going to order yellow Sanwas for this stick. I got the idea while I was reading through Buktooth's CvS2 thread (http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=70403) and I saw the little punch/kick icons in the first post. I saved them to my PC and blew them up with MSPaint. The problem, Buktooth had only used LP,MP,HP,and LK in his post, so I was missing MK and HK.
I searched around the internet and could not find the other two icons so finally, I pm'ed Buktooth to ask where to get them from. It took him a while to get back to me, so in the mean time I chopped up the ones I had with Paint and made the two I needed. Then after the stick was all finished Buktooth pm's me back and says "Hey those are just smilies".
So now I feel like an idiot, and now you all know it:)
Otherwise, just blow up the icons with paint and print them out. Take the button apart and use a X-acto knife to cut the paper to the same size as the inner part of the button. The white of the inner part of the button showed through a little so I colored them black with a Sharpie.
Lesson learned, after playing with the stick for a while I noticed that the icons were turning slowly to the left (counterclockwise). At first I thought that I did not tighten the buttons enough, but after some fiddling, I found that the paper the icon was printed on was moving. Solution take them back apart and use a little glue on each one. Now, no more movement![]()
That's a really kickass Kill Bill stick. Hell, it even got my girlfriend's seal of approval
Good job.

Hey psyfar is that a plexiglass overlay on that t5? if it is how did you drill the holes for the bolts.
"Physics is like sex; sure it has practical applications, but that's not why we do it."-Feynman
not plexi glass. actual laminated photo paper (i did at my job, whichis a photo lab). all i did is take off the old T5 art, clean the metal, use some spray adhesive, lined it up, and used an exacto knife to cut the holes. the screw holes were the toughest. (that was actually my first mod, and knew nothing about soldering, or anything, i guess that is one of the perks of working in a photolab)
