The official list of tournament games for the next Super Battle Opera tournament has been revealed, and it has some expected and unexpected entries.
Singles Play:
Street Fighter 4
Tatsunoko vs Capcom
Fate: Unlimited Codes
Blazblue
2v2 Play:
Arcana Heart 2: Suggoi
3v3 Play:
Virtua Fighter 5R Revision 1
Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion
Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
Guilty Gear: Accent Core
Normally, SBO hosts 3 singles games, 3 2v2 games, and 3 3v3 games, making this year an odd departure. On top of that, a few favorites have been left out this year in favor of some of the newer games. Melty Blood and Hokuto no Ken say goodbye, while fresh faces like TvC and FuC step in. One has to also wonder if SF4 arcade will get an update to match the console release. If so, will SBO be hosting the current arcade version of the game, or the console-build with all the new characters? And does TvC being on the roster mean that the US of A has a chance at taking a top spot at SBO?
Exclusive SF4 Arcade Fightstick Unboxing
Chcek this out, this is the first view of the unboxing of the final product of a SF4 Arcade Fighting stick to be released in February. If this doesn’t sell you on getting one, nothing will. This will be the new standard that companies will be held to in the future. If you don’t believe me, check out the video below.
The SF4 Fightstick is available for preorder through Amazon and Gamestop right now. If you don’t preorder it, you might not get your hands on it ever. Make the smart move and preorder now.
King of Fighters 12: Loke test vids
KoF 12 recently had its first loke test and wx1682 has uploaded plenty of matches on their youtube page. There are tons of vids and I’m sure much information to be gleaned from them. All I can tell at this point, having limited KoF knowledge, is that the game is gorgeous. Click here for the vids.
1up show: Cammy and Fei in motion
This week’s episode of the 1up show features some familiar faces. Come for the video, stay for quick footage of Fei Long and Cammy (footage begins at 6:33). They both made the transition to 3d very well, in my opinion. Now all we need are videos of Gen and Rose.

Triumvir’s Shadaloo Collection on Sale NOW

Pictured above is only the sticker version of the huge Shadaloo clothing collection that just went on sale maybe under an hour ago. I already made my purchases from there to give myself for Christmas… how about YOU?
Here is where you give this deserving company all of your money…
Actually, Triumvir has to celebrate the holidays as well, and orders placed from after December 19th will not be shipped until December 29th. So better on it quick while it’s still before the 19th.
Happy Record Breaking Sales Day!

Reports are in on the day 1 and week 1 sales of Capcom’s Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and the news is good! The game brought in an estimated 80 dollars (pictured here) for Capcom on day 1 alone! By the end of week 1, Capcom was able to put a solid 467 dollars in the bank to mature in our bountiful economy.
In the real world, though, the game has sold over 250,000 units already. Its broken day 1 AND week 1 downloadable game sales records, and is reportedly well on its way to breaking more records. Hey Capcom, I think that means the fans spoke with their wallets. We like rebalanced games with good netplay. Make more.
Tiny Scan Shows Off In-Game Rose

Oh, how I’d love to compile a list of links to posts declairing that Rose is 100% certainly not in Street Fighter 4 for you, but I simply do not have the time. Suffice it to say, the ‘rumors’ were true and Rose is coming to a console version near you. I realize this scan is almost unusably tiny, but until I get a bigger one, you’ll have to find a way to live your life with this one. Triumph or die, guys.
TvC Basic System Primer and Wiki are up!
Tatsunoko vs Capcom is officially here, so in lieu of a Crossup or other editorial this week, I bring to you a basic systems guide to help you get started. Hopefully you’ll find it helpful and it will get your creative juices flowing in trying to bust this baby wide open. A few of us are also working on the TvC Wiki right here on SRK. There isnt much there, but I promise more is coming. The SRK forums also have their own TvC section now, and useful information and video catalogs are pouring in as we speak. Now repeat after me: “TvC for Evo!”
Street Fighter Uno!
Thats right Street Fighter fans, Uno’s classic game just got a upgrade. The Street Fighter II deck is now available on the Xbox Marketplace for a measley 280 points. Go pick it up, invite your friends and throw hadokens at them all day.
Remember, if your friends are too poor to buy it, you can buy it and host the game and they can see and play in all the hotness action of Uno.
Draw Four!
