Last week was a busy one for the Street Fighter community. Capcom released information on SFIV’s newest character Abel. This guy has a mysterious background, and is a grappler, so this is big news to all the Gief and Hawk players out there. Abel joins Crimson Viper as the second new character to be publicly known. How many more new characters are out there? Only time will tell.

This week some of the press will get to participate in a Street Fighter IV tournament at the GDC. Look for more information later in the week.

Thats right! Famitsu is reporting that the original world warrior cast is back in Street Fighter 4. They have a crap load of screenshots on their website, to back up their claim. Head on over to Famitsu to check out all the screenshots of the new build. They also have screenshots of the cabinet that is required to play the game.

According to Capcom, the build is roughly 50% done. We look forward to a new, refreshing game to play. Game on!

This cabinet looks sweet, might have to buy the whole thing to play at home.
