The tradition of Super Battle Opera (Tougeki) continues on with the finals taking place in Japan on August 10th weekend. The US has been granted a total of 11 spots across 6 different games, the biggest allotment for the US in the event’s 5 year history. The 6 games consist of SF3 3S, SF2 AE, TK5 DR, SC3, GGXX A:C, and Arcana Hearts.

The US will hold 4 separate qualification events to determine the US representatives. 1 representative/team will be chosen from each of the following qualifiers. Click on each of the following for more information:

May 5th weekend at Sunnyvale Golfland: TK5 DR and SC3

May 12th weekend at Family Fun Arcade: SF3 3S and AE

May 19th and June 3rd at Planet Zero: TK5, SC3, GGXX, AH

June 9th and 16th at Tokyo Game Action: SF3 3S, AE, TK5

The qualifying players/teams will get their round trip plane ticket to Japan paid for! Much thanks to all the qualification event staffs at the various arcades for all their hard work and contributions to make this possible.
