Evo Finals Schedule Live!
With Evolution 2006 World Finals only 8 days away, we have got the final schedule ready to go, so you can plan your day around it. After perfecting the schedule at Evo East and West, we have got it down where everything ran on time. That means bad news for all you slackers that like to come late. Chances are-if you are more than 10 minutes late this year, you will already be in the losers bracket. Don’t be late this year, as we mean business!
Good Luck to all our competitors this year at Evolution World Finals in Las Vegas!
Evo East HSF2 Finals Videos
Anyone here old enough to remember a scene from the game “Space Ace,” where the girl you were trying to rescue warns you, “Beware your dark side!” before turning into an evil clone of you? Well, that quote could almost apply to Hyper Street Fighter 2 at Evo East, where everyone had to beware DarksydePhil, as he took the championships. And now you can watch the matches yourself, either by downloading the clips directly or by viewing them through YouTube.

(Note: The reason for only 8 matches is because one of the qualifiers in the Winners Bracket, Lincoln Morris, did not show up for the finals.)

EVO East Results finally!
EVO East has finally drawn to a close, and we are back to report the results! Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us continue the 2006 season. With a great mix of new faces, tournament regulars, and coast that deserves some love, EVO East was a smash success.
Special thanks to all tournament judges that helped out and made EVO run smoothly and on time! With our dedication to the schedule, everyone was able to have a ball.
A full list of qualifiers can be found at the Evo East subsite.
Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting released today!
Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting got released to the general public this morning around 1am. For the measley cost of 800 Microsoft points (around $10) you can play your favorite classic characters from the Street Fighter game on your 360, and have the ability to challenge opponents on Live.
While the lag is somewhat decent for online play, it takes 2 very good connections to have a great match. Expect Capcom to patch this game fairly quickly as there are a few glitches with matchmaking that make your attempted connection to the opponent time out almost every time.
Hurry up and see if you can become the number 1 player on Xbox Live! GOGOGO!
