No matter how rigorously tested something is, bugs slip by into released products all the time. Despite this, the Tekken 7 team may have been caught off guard by some of the problems that cropped up in the newly released Season 2. Eliza’s unblockable super, Lars’s combos into Rage Drive from 12-frame jabs, and other problems have riled Twitter to the point that even Katsuhiro Harada himself felt the need to respond:
We will deliver some bug fix (tuning) updates in a few days.
Some of the character’s Arts/Control are not as designed according to our intention.
Please wait for next update info.

The rush to get a patch out makes sense, given the sensitive nature of keeping the tournament scene running smoothly. It’s almost certain that the problems outlined above will be knocked out when the patch drops, though it’ll be interesting to see if anything covered in the patch notes (Katarina ff+2,4, etc.) that has shocked players will also be addressed.
There is currently no announced date, but we’ll keep you updated once there’s more information to share!
