It’s not every day that we see fighting game personalities make guest appearances outside their genre. If anyone were to bet on which player would cross over like that, Echo Fox|SonicFox is a safe choice. A new indie gameNinjin: Clash of Carrots is celebrating the hugely successful competitor by placing his trademark blue fursuit as selectable apparel.

The action title stars either a ninja fox or a ninja rabbit on a vengeful quest to retrieve rabbits. Gameplay resembles an endless runner a bit (but this isn’t a mobile game!), but it’s actually a beat ’em up: dodge danger and hack ‘n’ slash through hordes of enemies, drawing on fairly deep customization that has over 150 items. The weapons aren’t just skins, as they have variable lengths, strength, and critical hit chance. There’s also an “Oni TV Show” Survivor Mode as well as Story Mode. Both can be tackled solo or with a friend in cooperative mode (local or online).

A Modus Games employee posted footage of the SonicFox fursuit in action:

You can find the title on all the major gaming platforms: PlayStation 4, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
