Shkodo shows off the first true unblockable in Dragon Ball FighterZ

As showcased by any of its recent major tournaments, Dragon Ball FighterZ has a huge emphasis on blocking. Losing the offensive in the neutral game could mean facing over 30 seconds of block-strings, and the mental resilience of that much offense is just as much of a challenge. However, Russian DBFZ player Shkodo may have simplified the process.

Shkodo uploaded a video this morning of the first known unblockable set-up in the game, cashing out a free level 3 super when using Gotenks, Kid Buu, and either Android 16 or Trunks. As shown in the beef of the video below, it’s simple to set up, and even lands when the opponent jumps. Shkodo has noted, though, that a well placed invincible move will break out safely — regardless, the danger of a nigh-guaranteed level 3 will surely spice things up in DBFZ‘s offensive play.
