Thanks to a few key exclusives and sponsorships, the Sony PlayStation 4 has become the console of choice for fighting game tournaments. Of course, it helps that it’s also been a big sales success for Sony in this generation of consoles. How successful? Well, it’s officially sold more than 500 million units worldwide.

To celebrate this milestone, Sony is releasing a special 500 Million Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro. Releasing later this month, this new limited-edition variant of the PlayStation 4 Pro comes in a unique translucent blue casing, with gold lettering. It also comes with a matching translucent blue Dual Shock 4 controller, as well as a PlayStation Camera, vertical stand, mono headset, and 2 TB hard drive.

Only 50,000 of these 500 Million LE PlayStation 4 Pro will be produced, with each one numbered. As a added bonus, certain units will receive “extra special” serial numbers representing important dates in PlayStation history (e.g. 09995  for U.S. launch date of the original PlayStation [September 9th, 1995]; 01115 for for the U.S. launch date of PS4 [November 15, 2013]; and 01013 for the U.S. launch date of PS VR [October 13, 2016]).

The 500 Million LE PlayStation 4 Pro will retail for $499 when it hits retailer websites on August 24. In addition to this, the translucent blue Dual Shock 4 can also be purchased separately for $64.99, alongside a 500 Million Limited Edition Gold Wireless Headset with the same translucent blue design and copper detailing, priced at $99.99.
