Dragon Ball Game Summer Festival 2018 livestream to be held on July 29th

It has been announced that Bandai Namco Entertainment will be hosting a special “Dragon Ball Game Summer Festival 2018″ livestream on Twitch, Niconico, and OpenRec TV. During the event we’ll see a Dragon Ball FighterZ Regional Team Tournament, featuring some of the top players in Japan. Captains include:

  • Kanto Team Leader: GGP|Kazunoko
  • Toukai Team Leader: Kubo
  • Kansai Team Leader: CO|GO1
  • Special Team Leader: Masayan

Additionally, the latest information for both Dragon Ball FighterZ (likely the next pair of DLC characters, rumored to be normal Goku and Vegeta, based off of their Saiyan Saga appearances), and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (who recently announced that Dragon Ball GT’s Super Baby Vegeta would be coming to the game as part of a new DLC Pack 7, following a commitment from Producer Masayuki Hirano to continue supporting the title), will be revealed. Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version set to release on Thursday, September 27th in Japan, and Friday, September 28th in the WestDragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is also currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
