Late last moth, we brought you a tier list from Kubo, a top Japanese Under Night In-Birth and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax player, who some are already describing as “the best BBTAG player in Japan.” Now you can get a taste of some international action, as some of Japan’s finest from multiple Arc System Works titles couldn’t escape from Crossing Fate at the YOSHIMOTO Gaming Pro selection competition. This event featured Kubo, rocking his deadly team of Ruby Rose and Hyde Kido, as well as notable fighters ROW, Senaru, Damosu, Koichi, Ho-Chan, KoujiKOG, ZackyWild, Minami, Hifumi, Tarou, Yukia, Jyudou and many more.

With ASW’s tag team crossover title recently supplanting Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as currently the fifth-largest game at Evo 2018, it’s very likely that we could see a lot of these faces battling in Las Vegas this August. In fact, the winner of this event received a sponsorship to Evo courtesy of YOSHIMOTO Gaming. You can see the full tournament — which clocks in at around four-and-a-half hours in total — below. Uploader HYDEGaming1 has included timestamps for each match for your convenience, while commentator Shirtaker has provided us with the names of each player, and a list of the individual match-ups, making it extremely easy to find your favorite players quickly.

What are your thoughts on the level of competition and team compositions compared to some of the American play we’ve seen at Northwest Majors and CEO recently? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section.
