Australian esports organization Dark Sided has just expanded their fighting game roster: joining the team is 2018 Battle Arena Melbourne Dragon Ball FighterZ champion Sam Baxter.

A longtime competitor in the Australian fighting game community, Baxter has found success in competing in multiple fighting games in and out of Australia. His victory at Battle Arena Melbourne 10 further cemented his place in the Australian scene.

Originally founded in 2009 as a Gears or War team, Dark Sided has since grown into an organization that’s dedicated itself to growing the Australian esports scene, expanding into multiple games and genres, including fighting games. At Dark Sided, Baxter will be joining other fighting game players such as Xavier “Somniac” Nardella, Adric “Falco” Middleton, Duong “ZG” Nguyen, Tasman “Waz” Stephenson, Te Tuhi “Spud” Kelly, and Nick “Extra” McKenzie.

We here at Shoryuken wish Baxter and Dark Sided the best in their new relationship.
