A new Battle of Gods is on the horizon.

It looks like another crossover battle is about to happen in the fighting game scene. Echo Fox|Sonic Fox — a conqueror of multiple fighting games — has started talking about playing Smash, and trying out the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. We had a recent multi-part clash between Sonic Fox and GO1 in Dragon Ball FighterZ, and looks like the stage is being set for another fight between big personalities in the FGC.

It looks like there are stakes other than honor and glory. If TSM|ZeRo beats Sonic Fox, the loser will have to keep playing Smash (that might not be a bad thing, depending on how Sonic Fox likes the game).

This new rivalry — some may call a “feud” — only started this weekend, so as of now, the two don’t have a stage set yet. However, whenever and wherever it goes down, it will unquestionably be a hype event.
