Character Creation Mode is confirmed to return in SoulCalibur VI by the game’s producer Motohiro Okubo

E3 2018 has been a very exciting time for SoulCalibur VI fans, even if the game didn’t get time on the major stage. What’s more important for the Souls aficionados is gameplay footage of Geralt and many other newly-announced characters, like Taki and Maxi. There’s more gameplay, as well as some exciting news coming from the official Twitch channel — which featured an interview with the game’s producer, Motohiro Okubo.

Near the end of the gameplay demo and interview, Okubo was asked about character creation mode, and though he was a little tentative about making an official statement, he said that we can “expect it to come back” in the newest installment of the series. However, either Okubo can’t talk about what it looks like yet, or the mode is far from realization. Okubo is staying tight-lipped so far about all the other single-player modes in the game, but this should be big news for those who enjoyed creating both stylish and wacky fighters in the previous games.
