The Spirit Bomb that Dragon Ball FighterZ will drop on Las Vegas this year grows ever larger!

Evo Championship Series

After a look at the registration standings in March and again in April, it seems like the main stage games at Evo 2018 have pretty much been locked into their niches — the leaderboard order hasn’t changed between the updates:

  1. Dragon Ball FighterZ
  2. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition
  3. Tekken 7
  4. Super Smash Bros. Melee
  5. Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U
  6. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
  7. Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2
  8. Injustice 2

However, Evo director Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar has added the tidbit that DBFZ has an even bigger lead now, further widening the gap between it and the next most popular title: Street Fighter V.

Of course, we’ve still got a few months to see if this will get shaken up a bit. Registration is still open! Evo 2018 hits the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on August 3-5.
