VesperArcade has perennially done a great job at evaluating Alex in Street Fighter V. Often going into meticulous detail, he is able to break down the character and give accurate predictions on the character’s viability — with the prognosis usually being poor, unfortunately.

However, Alex has certainly received some quality-of-life improvements in the most recent patch. With new cancels, better air options, and a few stronger options, Alex is now infinitely more scary when he is in your face. If you’re able to make your approach count, Alex can certainly make it worth the work.
