For any Virtua Fighter fans out there desperate for any news about their beloved franchise, here’s an interesting slice. Atlus has announced that Virtua Fighter crossover costumes will be coming to their upcoming rhythm game Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night.
The Virtual Fighter DLC costumes were announced at recent Sega Fes 2018 hosted by their parent company Sega. With it, players will be able to dress up characters in this game as characters from Virtua Fighter.
Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night is one of a pair of Persona based dancing game Atlus is releasing next month. The other game, Persona 5: Dancing Star Night will be having Sonic the Hedgehog and Yakuza crossover DLC instead.
While it’s not a new game in the storied Virtua Fighter franchise, this announcement does seem to indicate that Sega believes that the Virtua Fighter franchise is still something that people will spend money on. Here’s hoping for more Virtual Fighter in the future.
