One character that is curently drawing heavily-polarized opinions in the Street Fighter V meta is Menat. Her spacing abilities have put a twist into a usually offensive game via her heavily-defensive tools. Traditionalists cheer for this, while newer players may find the playstyle boring — even worse, if it’s a mirror match.
Regardless of your opinions of the character, Capcom has made several buffs to the character, including some input changes to prevent overlaps. With many top players having already picked her up, and several others — including Capcom Cup 2017 champion MenaRD — flirting with the possibility, the future looks bright for Rose’s fortune-telling apprentice.
