More Beasts gather for battle!

Japanese Shadowverse mobile game publisher Cygames has renewed it sponsorship support for Daigo Umehara’s Cygames Beast team, formed last march with PR Balrog and Snake Eyez joining Umehara on the roster. This year, the team will expand with the addition of three new Street Fighter V competitors, all very well-known on the Street Fighter circuit: Cygames Beast now welcomes GamerBee, Fuudo, and Chris Tatarian aboard!

If you’ve been paying any attention to the Capcom Pro Tour over SFV’s lifespan, you’ll have seen GamerBee’s Necalli, Fuudo’s R. Mika, and Chris T’s Ken mixing it up with the competition. Fuudo has also become a regular fixture on Daigo the BeasTV, making his inclusion on the Cygames Beast roster a natural development. They join Daigo Umehara and PR Balrog to bring the team to a new total of five members — Snake Eyez, however, is departing from Cygames Beast.

Yuito Kimura, Game Producer and Executive Director at Cygames, offers these comments:

Every one of us here is looking forward to another year of nail-biting entertainment as part of our continued collaboration with Cygames Beast. At Cygames we strive to deliver on the dreams of our players, not just through social games – which we are well-known for in Japan – but across a diverse spectrum of content. By expanding our relationship with Cygames Beast we’re looking forward to reaching ever more gamers that share our passion as embraced by our motto: creating the best in entertainment.

GamerBee, Fuudo, and Chris T will jump right into competition under the Cygames Beast banner this weekend at Final Round 2018.
