After several months of work and various contributions from many members of the community, Evo 2017 side tournament Champion Aaron “PsychoBlue” Pinsky has finally completed and released his “complete dossier” on the entire cast of Street Fighter X Tekken (excluding the five Sony-exclusive guest characters).

This document provides players with a complete guide to all 50 tournament-legal characters, listing each individual fighter’s pros, cons and preferred team position — as well as a brief description on how they should be played most effectively. Intended to clear up misconceptions about the cast’s overall balance that have cropped up due to the title’s age (and its fall from mainstream competition) PsychoBlue notes that:

The purpose of this guidebook is to provide players either entering Street Fighter X Tekken v2013 for the first time, or those who are on the threshold of mastery to gain a understanding of the cast on a global basis. Rather than deter new players from avoiding certain characters by providing subjective tier lists, the purpose of this guidebook will be to persuade players into choosing their favorite characters and understanding their individual strengths and weaknesses, as well as providing a general overview of what the character’s gameplan should be in order to be used effectively in high-level play.

With contributions from the likes of Hazama, Homeless Dragon, Nostalgic, Esuta (who placed 7th at Evo 2013) before winning the side tournaments from 2014-2016) and many others, this guide will be full of expert advice from some of the top players in the game’s scene today. You can see the guide — in the form of a Google document — below.
