Street Fighter Carnival X is Mikado Arcade’s currently-ongoing multi-game tournament series for a wide variety of classic (and sometimes, obscure) arcade titles. To see the beginning of these high level Japanese tournaments, go here!

SNK vs. Capcom: SvC Chaos may not have been the success of any of its Capcom-produced predecessors, but it has enjoyed a cult following despite many of its well-documented balance problems. The game has a surprisingly entertaining pace, and there’s something charming about watching the absurdity of its top tiers clashing. It doesn’t hurt any that this game is the source of some rare and gorgeous SNK sprite work of Capcom characters.

You can follow the action of SFCX by subscribing to Mikado’s official YouTube channel. For the night owls in the US, you can even try to catch them when they livestream.

Hey, I'm just a 3D-head in a 2D-world. I like pretty much all FGC stuff, and I really like hearing about the way people think about games.
