With BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle drawing ever closer, the game made an appearance at the PlayStation Arena event in South Korea this past weekend. During the presentation a four-player, double-elimination tournament was held with the 20-character build we’ve seen at Evo Japan, the 2018 Taipei Game Show, and various Arc Live! streams over the past few months. Fortunately for us, BlazBlue content creator Koefficient has uploaded the archive of the event to YouTube for our viewing pleasure.

Though early, this footage gave us a great idea of what BBTAG play could look like at a high-level, with plenty of footage of Team RWBY’s Ruby Rose and Weiss Schnee, as well as BlazBlue’s Ragna The Bloodedge, Nu-13, Azrael, and Es on display. So if you’re interested in having any of those six characters on your team, be sure to give this video a look.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will be released on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in Japan on Thursday, May 31st, with a North American release following on the same platforms on Tuesday, June 5th. The Cross Character Pack 2 DLC characters will be revealed on March 16th, and BBTAG was just announced to be a side tournament at CEO 2018, as well as one of the eight main stage games of Evo 2018.

How do you think BBTAG is shaping up after viewing this footage? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
