Acting as the inaugural event for Esports Arena Las Vegas and the opening leg of the Smash Masters League, expect the top of the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tree turning out for Battle of Vegas. Running from March 24th-25th, this event will see players competing for a share of a $25,000 prize pool, as well as for points on the global Smash Masters League leaderboard.

While the majority of Smash Masters League events will take place at Esports Arenas across the world, certain tournaments have partnered with Esports Arena to act as ranking events. So far, Full Bloom 4 and Respawn 6 are confirmed as partnered tournaments, with more announcements to come in the future.

For more information on the Smash Masters League, check out its official website and if you wish to participate in Battle for Vegas, registration is available on smash.gg. Keep in mind that unlike most Smash tournaments, Battle for Vegas is singles-only — so don’t rely on a friend to carry you to the big bucks!
