Versus 2018 has served as a trip down memory lane. With some of the old-school Marvel players making their way out alongside some of the newer players of the game spanning across three titles, this shaped up for an exciting event.

One of the highlights of the weekend was Justin Wong playing against his old Marvel vs. Capcom 2 rival Sanford Kelly in a first-to-ten exhibition. The two have had even matches across the game’s lifespan, with the last two Evo championships being split between the two in grand finals that included both. With that kind of introduction, you know that this exhibition will be a classic.
