Korea and Japan — political implications aside — have a long-standing rivalry, especially in Tekken. While Japan is the originator of the game, Korea has long held the reputation of having the strongest players in the game, even claiming that Korean arcade parts are better suited for the game!

Yet, in 2017, Evo 2017 champion JDCR was taken to his limits and beaten by Japan’s Noroma at the Korean Tekken World Tour stop. He has since gotten his revenge by beating him during the Tekken World Tour Finals. But now’s the time for the rubber match. In this epic Tekken 7 first-to-ten held in Japan, who will come out on top?
