Dominique “SonicFox” McLean, from Team Echo Fox, is one of the most dominant players to have burst into the scene in the past few years. Few players have been able to come into the scene and demonstrate the same consistency and skill as SonicFox has.

Now, a new video by Shujinkydink takes a look at SonicFox’s rise to prominence. The video below asks the question of whether or not SonicFox was always as dominant as he is now, all while looking at his humble beginnings.

Take note however that the video focuses more on his career in NetherRealm Studios’s games, so we don’t see as much of his achievements in games like Dead Or Alive 5 and Skullgirls.
