Despite all the hullabaloo surrounding alternate controllers for Super Smash Bros, Alt Lab has been soldiering along with the work on their upcoming Smash Stick. As part of the development of the stick, they recently put out a call for play testers among from the community.

In their latest update video, they announce their play testers for both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. On the Melee side of things, their testers are Lucky and Eclipsing Binary. Meanwhile for Smash 4 they’ve gone with Dekillsage.

In addition to this, the video also announces that the Smash Stick will also feature native Nintendo 64 support for the original Super Smash Bros. As such, they are now looking for play testers for that game as well.

In addition to this, the video below also demonstrates some of the latest updates to the Smash Stick. This includes an octagon gate for the analog lever, as well as risers for the C-stick buttons to make them easier to press.
