Stagger your Mismagius setups for increased pressure and guard break opportunities in Pokkén Tournament DX

Mismagius is an odd support in Pokkén Tournament DX. It’s great for a brief lock-down and chip damage, but its slow summon time makes it to vulnerable outside of specific knockdown setups. It also goes away very quickly once your opponent blocks it — assuming, of course, you don’t manipulate the situation.

Because you can push your opponent’s hurtbox with forward momentum, you can create situations where Mismagius “follows” you, causing one of its many hits to stagger one at a time. This completely prevents your opponent from escaping as long as you know how to “fill the gaps” of Mismagius’s hits, and allows potential guard break setups as well, depending upon your character.
