For eight iterations, Lap Chi Duong has ran one of the most popular stops on the fighting game major circuit in Canada Cup. The event this year featured more of the same hype from years past, with even more happening due to the crowning of a Canadian Marvel champion.

In his first trip to Canada Cup, BornFree talked to Lap Chi about the history of his event. They also talked about what trends Lap Chi sees in the growth of the FGC, as well as his love of Ultra Street Fighter IV — which featured a $1,000 pot bonus this year.
