One of the most prestigious events in competitive Tekken is none other than the Mastercup. This team based tournament is Japan’s biggest Tekken tournament, attracting a good number of the region’s best players.

The 9th installment of the Mastercup is taking place this November 25, a couple of weeks after the Tekken 7 World Tour Global Finals at the Tokyo Big Sight TFT Hall. While registration for the event is still open, the organizers have announced that they have already 190 teams — almost 1,000 players — registered for the event.

As part of this, they’ve released a new trailer for the event, featuring a number of top players and combo creators. You can check this out below.

For those interested, the event will be streamed live on Twitch. Details on the stream will be divulged at a later date, so stay locked on to Shoryuken for more on this.
