Shadow Mewtwo

If you’re a Shadow Mewtwo player, then the various balance changes from his release on the original Wii U up until now have probably sent you through a roller-coaster of emotions. This glass cannon archetype was rightfully nerfed in the Wii U’s very first patch due to an infinite, but many have argued that the hammer of balance came down a little too hard on him.

Pokkén Tournament DX‘s changes send a pretty clear message about the direction Namco is trying to take Shadow Mewtwo. With improved rushdown with 4X, less Burst Attack damage scaling, new teleport cancels and yet another nerf to Pillar, Shadow Mewtwo seems designed to get in and cause as much chaos as possible. If you enjoy high damage and constant access to super, this is the character for you.

Hey, I'm just a 3D-head in a 2D-world. I like pretty much all FGC stuff, and I really like hearing about the way people think about games.
