Kai Kennedy, DaPurpleSharpie, and Mike Zaimont discuss what the future of the Skullgirls community looks like

What’s on the horizon for Skullgirls fans?

Now that Skullgirls has broken over a million copies sold on Steam, what’s in store for the game? The title is described as “finished” — no additional content or patches from Lab Zero are expected for 2nd Encore. What’s next, and what’s left?

In the video below, voice actor Kai Kennedy discusses what is still going on in the Skullgirls community: while Skullgirls 2nd Encore won’t be updated again, it still has a very active and dedicated community of devoted fans, players, and competitors — so if you still want to get into the game in its “twilight years,” there’s no reason not to. Kennedy also gets some information¬†from DaPurpleSharpie about the ongoing Skullgirls Tour, some words from the Skullgirls Mobile developer Hidden Variable about future content and support for the mobile game, and lastly some clarification from developer Mike Zaimont about what it would take to see a full “Skullgirls 2” sequel.

Thanks to Sheila for the tip.
