Long awaited characters finally make their appearance.
Months after the fourth and seemingly final DLC pack for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was released, it looks like players can expect new additions to the time traveling anime fighter. In a recent issue of V-Jump, Bandai Namco announced that Demon King Dabura and Gohan-absorbed Buu will be coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as DLC. Those who purchase the upcoming DLC pack will also have access to the evil Kai, Zamasu, as a mentor. This will give Zamasu’s apprentices access to his special moves as well as the usual dialogue of praise and scold depending on how well you do in matches. Not much else is known about the upcoming DLC, but it will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch so everyone will be able to have a chance to grab the new additions.
Players have been expecting these characters to be added to the game after they data mined the last DLC pack’s update information. Data listings for characters coded “BUU” and “DBR” were found within the update causing players to speculate when the addition of Dabura and Gohan-absorbed Super Buu would finally be implemented. It is interesting that it has taken so long to add Dabura — who is the elder brother to Mira, one of the primary antagonists of the Xenoverse series — to the games. Perhaps there will be an additional story scenario with the siblings together at last in the Xenoverse series. There’s bound to be more information soon, so be on the lookout!
