Take a look back at Street Fighter Alpha 3 and some of its flashy mechanics

One of the so-called classics of the franchise, Street Fighter Alpha 3 is as known for some of the rather interesting things the engine will let you do, on top of the competition around it.

In this new video, Bob Sagat shows off some of the unique mechanics that Street Fighter Alpha 3 had. These include guard crushes, alpha counters, and even the advancing guard that was unique to Dan and Juni. These are put to good use to create situations and interactions that would look really flashy in a real match.
