For the real retro enthusiasts, iam8bit has a special treat just for you!

As a special surprise to mark today’s 30th anniversary of the release of the original Street Fighter, iam8bit (online retailer specializing in retro-themed goodies) has announced pre-orders are now open for a limited-edition re-release of the very first home version of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior — the port that many of today’s fighting game fans started out on.

This commemorative cartridge — yes, it’s an actual Super Nintendo Entertainment System game pak — is limited to 5,500 units, packed in a restored luxury¬†foil/embossed box, and will include a variety of extras, including some secret surprises! Additionally, 1000 of the 5,500 cartridges will be a special translucent glow-in-dark “Blanka green,” instead of the standard “Ryu headband red,” determined at random.
