Branching out from Super Smash Bros. Melee, esports organization Tempo Storm have signed Alex Myers as their latest Street Fighter V player. This signing comes after a period of free agency, after Myers’ departure from Ronin Esports. It acts as Tempo Storm’s return to Street Fighter, following a break after the release of NYChrisG back in March of 2016.

With top 8 performances at DreamHack Austin and Canada Cup 2016, Myers is also known for creating educational content for those looking to improve at Street Fighter. He’s also started a series of travel vlogs, showing players what it is like to travel to big events and compete. According to Tempo Storm, Myers is “is looking into creating content to educate the FGC masses,” so expect more videos from the NorCal Cammy in the coming months.
Myers will be trooping the Tempo Storm colors at Evo next week, so look out for his new blue-and-white jersey in the depths of the Evo brackets.
