Registration is now open for Brazil’s largest fighting game tournament: Treta Championship 2017

Earlier this month, it was announced that registration has finally opened for Brazil’s largest fighting game tournament: Treta Championship 2017. Coming to us from Curitiba, Brazil on September 30 to October 1, the event should see a large amount of both local and international competition converge to do battle in a variety of different games. Players such as Killer Xinok, ETC McFly, Konqueror249, and HeeyGeorge have already confirmed attendance for Injustice 2. The official lineup of titles is as follows:

  • Street Fighter V (Capcom Pro Tour Ranking event)
  • Injustice 2
  • Tekken 7
  • Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
  • Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2
  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
  • Mortal Kombat XL
  • The King of Fighters XIV
  • Killer Instinct

The 10th game in the lineup will be “Community’s Choice,” though the options that can be picked from have yet to be revealed at this time.

There will also be a large number of side events, including:

  • Ultra Street Fighter IV
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
  • The King of Fighters 2002
  • Street Fighter Alpha 2
  • Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
  • Skullgirls 2nd Encore
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2
  • Super Street Fighter II Turbo
