While the rebooted Killer Instinct has been available on PC for a while, it has so far only been through Microsoft’s Store on Windows 10. This means that folks on older PCs who haven’t updated to Window 10, or those who simply prefer to use other services, haven’t had a chance to play the game. That, however, is all about to change.
At CEO in Orlando, it was announced that Killer Instinct will finally be coming to Steam. The official Killer Instinct Twitter account also followed this up, confirming that the game would be coming to Valve’s platform sometime later this year.
That's right, KI is coming to Steam later this year! Thanks to @CEOJebailey for helping us break the news. More details to follow.

As for other details regarding requirements, including whether or not it will still require Windows 10, or if it will run on older versions have yet to be confirmed. These details are scheduled to be revealed at a later date.
