Upcoming Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 patch adds more story content, fixes bugs

It looks like the Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 story isn’t quite done telling what it wanted to. Since in-game the new content is called “After Story A,” it seems to have suggested that at some point, there will be “After Story B,” — and that’s indeed the case. Today, a patch launched on Japanese versions of Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 for PlayStation 3 and 4, with Steam’s coming at a later date.

Arc System Works tweeted some screenshots, which show members of the Assassin’s Guild talking. Given that “After Story A” mainly focuses on the Kiske family, Story B might focus on those characters who didn’t previously enjoy as much spotlight.

Other than that, the patch fixes a few bugs in various modes and misspellings. As of yet, Arc System Works has not stated anything about a patch for the English versions of the game.
