This year’s Combo Breaker in St. Charles, IL, was memorable for many reasons. Not only did it comfortably house nearly every competitive game you’d like to play, but it also fit in more Guilty Gear participants than any tournament this year so far. As essentially the premiere tournament for REV 2 in the United States, this is the biggest event yet for the recently-published console update.

Alongside explanatory English commentary to continue bringing you up on the novelties of the latest version, enjoy a good variety of characters in this top 8. There’s a bunch of sponsored players competing, with some impressive members of the community. BxA|dotNova’s Jack’O is up first against daymendou’s Slayer. That’s followed up by previous Guilty Gear Combo Breaker champion ElvenShadow and his Faust, fighting Xcel|BjornSonOfBear’s renowned Chipp Zanuff. Make sure to not miss out on the hype match between PG|MarlinPie’s excellent Zato=1 versus Foo’s Kum Haehyun, a rarely-seen character that’s proving stronger thanks to some buffs.

And finally, take notice of how solid Fable|Kizzie Kay’s Sin is, but note also CO|Dogura’s rise through the Losers bracket with his new and improved Raven.
