Following its first successful beta test of the new CFN, Capcom have announced that they may be looking into another possible beta test to ensure the revamped system is completely fit to roll out. Stated on the latest Capcom Unity blog, “current and new players will be able to participate in the beta for free” if it does go ahead, and it will also include “the next Season 2 DLC character.”

As for the promised balance changes which were planned to launch at the end of this month, they have now been delayed to “release alongside the new CFN when it is ready.” By extension, the next DLC character will release alongside the new CFN and the balance changes, sometime in the near future.

Expect more details on the potential CFN beta in the next few weeks, where we will finally get a glimpse of the next Season 2 fighter.
